Join the Calloway County Tennessee RiverTowns program for a free kayaking adventure on September 28th!
Explore the history and nature surrounding Fort Heiman as you paddle Kentucky Lake. Register for a single or tandem kayak by September 24th, spots are limited! You may bring your own boat, but all participants need to register beforehand. No previous kayaking experience is needed. Life jackets are mandatory and provided if using a Tennessee RiverTowns kayak.
The event kicks off with check-in between 8:30-8:50am, followed by a safety briefing, and launches onto the water by 9:30am.

Downtown Murray Farmer's Market

The hot social event of the summer!! The Farmers Market is open from 7 am to noon, on the downtown court square in Murray, every Saturday from May 11 through October 26. The Downtown Farmers Market exists to provide a location for farmers and crafters to promote their products directly to the consumers at a reasonable price, save family farms and stimulate the local economy. On average, 40 vendors (crafters, produce, baked goods, etc.) are set up every weekend. During peak season (June-July), more than 60 vendors will arrive. If you are in town on Saturday mornings, be sure to visit the downtown area to shop, socialize or just walk around the square. It will become your favorite morning tradition!
