Arts Thrive in Calloway County

The Murray Art Guild, located at 500 North Fourth Street, is a nonprofit community art center.

They offer workshops for all ages and abilities, artist studios, an exhibition gallery and an Art Market.  The gallery is open to the public.

Murray State University features three galleries on campus as well as the Wrather West Kentucky Museum.

Visitors can enjoy different exhibits at the art galleries during the fall and spring school semesters.

The Wrather West Kentucky Museum is located inside Murray State’s oldest building, first erected in 1924.  The museum features changing exhibits and is open during the week from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
