Tennessee RiverTown

Tennessee RiverLine Paddling / Stewartship Event

Saturday, September 28, 2024

Tennessee RiverTowns program of Calloway County is hosting a FREE paddling event to explore the history and nature around Fort Heiman.

The kayak adventure will take off from Patterson’s Point Boat Ramp with paddlers enjoying Kentucky Lake.  Participants can register for a tandem or single kayak by registering below.

There is a limited supply of kayaks, so early registration is encouraged.  Also, those with their own kayaks are invited to participate, but registration is also required so we can plan accordingly.

Click HERE and then GET TICKETS to register.

Registration will close on Tuesday, September 24th.

NO WALK UP REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED ON THE DAY OF THE EVENT.

Note:  All participants must be able to swim.  Comfort being on the water and previous kayak experience is requested.  PFD’s (provided if using a Tennessee RiverLine Kayak) are required to be worn at all times while on the water.

All participants must complete a “Participant Liability Waiver & Assumption of Risk” form at check in the morning of the event.

All participants…utilizing provided kayaks or bringing their own…will need to check in between 8:30am – 8:50am at the table at Patterson’s Point the morning of the event.

There will be a brief welcome and safety review with the plan of being on the water by 9:30am.  The paddle will last about two hours with the entire event wrapped up by Noon.
